Bench 1775 Surprise Proposal | Sept 1 2022
Man oh man, a surprise proposal! I've done a good handful of these now, and it never fails to get my heart racing while I try my best to be incognito until it's time to pop the question.
Mitch was an adorable bundle of nerves throughout the day - occasionally touching base through text to make sure we were all set, and also to dump a few of those nerves somewhere while he kept it a secret from everyone else. The scene was set with a romantic seated wine tasting at Bench 1775, followed by a stroll through the vines. A super slight haze in the sky gave everything a soft golden light and despite being September, it was definitely summertime hot. (If you're like me, that also means it's the perfect temperature for a nice cold glass of vino!). All-in-all, the perfect set up!
As I hung around the parking lot, waiting and watching in what I can only call a creepy stalker-like fashion, it was easy to see that these two were a good match. There was laughter and chemistry - even the wine shop staff noted how cute they were together. When the moment came, it was an absolute yes! After a few moments to dry tears and soak it all in, We spent the next 20 minutes or so wandering around Bench 1775 to capture the moment with a quick engagement session. I couldn't have asked for a more lovely couple, or a more perfect day.
