Covid has brought a lot of changes to many wedding plans. Kyla first contacted me about a summer wedding for 2022, but with uncertainties about allowances, she and Alex decided an intimate ceremony would be just the thing. In that case, why wait! What really tickled me most about capturing these "I do's" was that Kyla and I had attended the same elementary school, and remembered each other from way-back-when.
Even though it was a tad on the freeze-your-toes off side, you really couldn't tell. Alex and Kyla only had eyes for each other. Their Kiwanis Pier ceremony was sweet, and full of both laughter and tears. At the announcing of the new Mr. & Mrs., one small guest proclaimed "Is it over now?", which I think is the best type of send off into a new marriage! Haha.
Honestly, this wedding was beautiful, and I was so grateful to have been able to capture these precious moments. With Covid, a lot of weddings haven't gone down as they were dreamt up, but that never seems to stop them from being absolutely perfect anyways.
