What's more fun than a leap day wedding? A leap day wedding when the bride has been a long-time subject in front of my lens! Sierra has been one of my practice subjects quite a few times over the years, and put up with some interesting requests. It was an incredible honour to be asked to capture her wedding day, and I'm so happy to have been a part of their celebration.
Ben is just the sweetest human. I hadn't had a chance to meet him before the ceremony, but between his warm welcome when I arrived and the amazing words of his family and friends throughout the night, it's easy to see why Sierra had fallen in love with him.
Their ceremony was filled with laughter and happy tears, and ended in a shower of rose petals. (Which was so much fun!). A pot-luck style dinner had been prepared by their family and friends, which was thoroughly enjoyed while speeches and an open mic carried them off into the night.
